Public Request of Teiko to Fellow AIN Member States

The Government of Teiko wishes to pursue several reforms in the Alliance.

First, it wishes to re-establish/establish the AIN HQ and all Alliance agencies AIN-wide/regional HQs in new permanent locations. This motion will only affect offices which have not been established until now and other offices which are located in non-active and honorary nations states pursuant to laws of the Alliance. Also, that these permanent new offices shall not change unless the AIN member state leaves the Alliance or becomes non-active. Offices to consider are:

AIN HQ (Library of the Alliance, General Assembly and Secretariat)
Alliance Cultural Agency Offices (AIN-wide and regional)
Alliance Public Services Agency offices (AIN-wide and regional)
Alliance Games Federation office
Alliance Economic Agency offices (AIN-wide and regional)
Alliance Trade Organisation office
Bank of the Alliance office
AIN Statistics Institute office

Second, it wishes to pass a non-proliferation treaty on weapons of mass destruction in AIN, the new treaty will include preventing creation of new weapons, dismantling of current stockpiles of WMD and shall include provisions in prohibiting militarisation of space.

Third, Teiko repeats its call for member states to join the Treaty of Alliance Economic Integration which will streamline trade and visa-waiver programs between AIN member states. Teiko will be signing the treaty.

REPUBLIC OF WILFRAN AND RAPHA | REPÚBLICA DE WILFRAN E RAPHA | RÉPUBLIQUE DE WILFRAN ET RAPHA

The government of Wilfran and Rapha supports the re-establish/establish the AIN HQ and all Alliance agencies AIN-wide/regional HQs in new permanent locations. The country also reiterates the desire and honor to be able to host one or more offices of the type.

We currently do not host any offices in national territory.

It will also support the adoption of a non-proliferation treaty on weapons of mass destruction in the AIN on the fact that all Member States ratify such a treaty, without any exceptions.

The Government of the Federal Republic of Mikenstien reiterates its long-standing commitment to the Treaty of Alliance Economic Integration, and as the purveyor of the Treaty, I am proud that our nation has helped to bring the countries of the Alliance closer together economically.
I can now proudly tell the conference that The President of the Federal Republic of Carolina, Nikki Haley, has confirmed to me that Carolina will now sign the Treaty of Alliance Economic Integration. This represents a large increase in the economy contained within the Treaty area, and the population able to benefit from the freedom it grants. I welcome her decision, following the uncertainty that was previously made.

We also support the redevelopment of AIN Offices worldwide and call for a centrally updated resource, listing all Agency HQ and regional offices around the Alliance.
We also support the non-proliferation treaty, especially since Mikenstein itself is neutral and does not hold any WMD or equivalents. We hope a Treaty like this can bring certainty of peace to the Alliance.

Her Majesty's Kingdom of Illium's Royal Navy in conjunction with the Illium National Space Command regrets to inform our alliance friends that the Kingdom will not be signing a nonproliferation treaty that involves prohibiting the use of weapons in space. The Kingdom has reduced it's nuclear arsenal to zero already. On April 13th, 2017 the last of Her Majesty's nuclear weapons was dismantled and the radioactive material sent to GSI for conversion to nuclear fuel.

A major goal of the Kingdom is to further humanity, and a large part of that goal is extending our reach as a species into the heavens. Humanity has it's admirable traits, but we aren't perfect by any means. One thing that is a constant is our ability to wage war on one another. Until such point that we no longer have the need or desire to take the lives of another human, the Kingdom will continue to research, expand and develop our military and push the envelope on military design and applications.

Many nations have called the Kingdom warmongers in the past. We neither agree nor care what those nations think of our military. History has always been told by the victors, and the Kingdom can and will be leaders in the development of the human race. That means protecting the Kingdom and her interests anywhere, at any time, including in orbit of our planet and beyond.

On that note, we do agree that NUCLEAR proliferation is an admirable cause, and should the clause about prohibitions of weapons in space be omitted, we would gladly sign it on the principle of peace. We would even take it further and help with disposal and/or transformation of nuclear waste into usable nuclear energy.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter, and we are always open to discussion.

The Government of New Duveland reiterates it's commitment to the Treaty of Alliance Economic Integration. We also support the redevelopment of AIN Offices worldwide, supporting Mikenstien's call for a centrally updated resource, listing all Agency HQ and regional offices around the Alliance.

New Duveland will also fully support the non-proliferation treaty.

Neu Westfalen agrees to all of the proposals put forward by Teiko. However we would like clarification on a section of article 4.01 (below) before we can confirm our intentions to formally sign the TAEI.

2) Any organisation registered in a Non-Ratified Member State may operate an office within any Ratified Member State in order to have access to the Single Market for the free movement of capital.

Would this mean the creation of a single-market whereby any company can operate in any other without prior government approval?

The Amurian Republic agrees to Teiko's propositions but would like to discuss the ability of nuclear states to place their weapons on Alliance members' soil. The Republic has strained relations with North Korea and relies on Russian ICBM bases in Amuria to deter any military action. Additionally, the Amurian Republic confirms that it will sign the Treaty on Alliance Economic Integration.

This clause would not create a single market. The reference to the single market is in reference to the free movement of services and goods. Since the Treaty allows trade deals between a signed member and a non-signed AIN member, there is no single market. Also, the treaty does not remove the need for local regulation, so any local registration or so forth would still apply, since this isn't mentioned in the treaty.
