The amazing collection of tidbits and doohickies

Post by bigro » August 12th 2012, 8:31 am

Because I sometimes do things for no apparent reason and generally can not be stuffed making an excuse for it. I probably will use the things here eventually but eh.

First, things that are in the IARC.

Small fishing and kelp harvesting community. Kelp be profitable in the IARC. Good and yummy and makes wonderful baskets.

Image
A big ol slum in a big ol city. Was going to use this in the holy city application but life decided to be a big NOPE there and never finished the second half to the highly contrasting city. So instead of large temples and such up the hills and dense slums downstream giving an 'enlightening' view on the circle of life it's just slums.
How sad.
I am so sad.
Look at how sad these letters are. LOOK AT THEM.

Image
Only part of the damn holy place I did finish and it's the road TO the main temple and not the temple itself (which btw I did not get to lot)
Still looks kinda spiritual though, as a road to the largest temple in the holy city would :P

Image
Millionaires row right here. Richest place in the IARC per square inch and boy is it pompous.
As you can see from the paved roads and large brick bridges. With actual safety restraints on areas where a car may accidentally slip off and a pier that isn't used for industry.
Yes, this is a small chain of Islands off of Elephentium (go find the map of the IARC if you don't know where that is) and has a small soursob problem. As in it's been entirely taken over by it. The area turns yellow every year like clockwork and nothing can be grown on the islands efficiently as a result. Barring wine, but that's out of it's climate here.
It does however make for some wonderful views and has very clean waterways (is north of Elephentium, current flows south) making it ideal for the richest suburb in the area.
It's rumoured that Bill Gates secretly lives here on his vacations. SHH DON'T TELL THE BAHAMAS.

________________________________________________________________
From here on it has nothing to do with the IARC and I am just doing random things for the hell of it.

Image
Little house, nice lake. Bit wet and a bit hilly. CAN'T WIN.

Image
Abluh, little thing I did in preparation for a 'post apoc' like string of things I was going to do.
Never did get around to finishing that.

Image
Just me attempting some euro to keep the whole multi-style thing going. I do many things dammit D:<

Image
I will eventually finish this city. I will eventually finish this city. I will eventually finish this city.

Nah, I'm going to put it off FOREVER! BAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!

yeah, that'll be all for now. TATA

That post-apoc scene reminds me a lot of the Fallout series. I think you should continue with it, it looks amazing!
